Hi Everyone,

It has been a while since the last newsletter, so I thought it was time for another! Plus, we always like to end the year with a brief message.

Things have been pretty tough over the last 18 months or so, no one has not been affected by the current economic problems, so it is good to know that we will certainly still be here next year! (Hopefully!)

I would like to thank all of the people who have attended the auction in 2009. I would also like to thank all of the vendors too, without whom, we would certainly not have been able to survive during this trying time, and by no means last, a big thank you to all of the staff!

Auctions can hold the odd surprise when putting a catalogue together, one minute, you see no British medals, the next, a few turn up….I guess it’s a bit like waiting for a bus! The same can be said for German Paratroopers helmets, you don’t see one for quite a while, and then, bang, you have two in the same sale! I hope there is something for everyone in this auction anyway, it has been a pleasure putting it together, although it was a bit problematic sometimes.

Well, I would like once again to thank everyone, and wish you and all of your families, a very Merry Christmas, and a peaceful, healthy and wealthy (?) New Year!
